About

The Intercultural Fund was created to  to enhance the student life at the University of Pennsylvania by supporting events that break boundaries, celebrate our diversity, and provide forums for underrepresented communities to express themselves. The board consists of representatives from the Asian Pacific Student Coalition (APSC), Lambda Alliance, Latino Coalition (LC), Penn Consortium of Undergraduate Women (PCUW), UMOJA, and United Minorities Council (UMC).

The Intercultural Fund receives its funding directly from the Vice Provost for University Life. In the 2010-2011 academic year, the Intercultural Fund awarded $35,000 to over 30 events.

The Intercultural Fund meets biweekly depending on the volume of applications. Events must have significant collaboration between disparate groups and at least one group must be a member of an umbrella coalition.  If interested in applying, please fill out an application and submit to interculturalfund@gmail.com. All applications must be submitted at least two weeks before the event and the board will contact you shortly.
